We are thrilled to announce that we have started the initial preparations for the COMBINE 2021 Symposium which is to be held in conjunction with the Australian Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Society (ABACBS) conference in November 2021! We are now seeking volunteers who would like to be on the COMBINE Symposium committee. In summary, the COMBINE Symposium is an annual student-run, non-profit symposium that gathers a diverse group of Australian students and early career researchers who are curious, passionate and eager to learn more about bioinformatics and computational biology. The symposium includes a number of student session talks over a broad range of computational biology topics. The symposium also includes an exciting careers panel with invited speakers across a range of industry and academia positions, alongside virtual and in-person networking events for bioinformatics research students. The symposium will be virtual with optional in-person meetings the on 22nd of November 2021.
