COMBINE is a student-run Australian organisation for students in computational biology, bioinformatics, and related fields. COMBINE hosts a range of events, both locally and nationally, with a strong emphasis on student networking and promoting student work in this field.
This Brisbane seminar series will be covering some excellent research being done by local students, as well as their journey to their current position. Each session will feature three short talks from local students in bioinformatics (including concepts and tools), followed by a networking event at the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences, UQ. Snacks will be provided, and drinks can be purchased for a small fee. Attendees will be encouraged to create new connections and build their professional network.
